Electrical Design Engineer Specialist

About the Role

TCS is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Romsey. As a specialist in the MCC and power control sector, you will work alongside an established team to deliver control system solutions to the water industry. Your key duties will include taking on a leading role in aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client Specifications and current regulatory standards, with a strong focus on low-carbon solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out intrusive Electrical and ICA site surveys to Identify the most appropriate solutions to complex problems.
  • Carry out the planning and implementation of the project.
  • Taking the lead on the development of EICA design deliverables by you and your team.
  • Providing technical guidance on EICA matters to the wider project team.

Requirements

  • Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of British and European design standards.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven track record as an Electrical Engineer in both a design office and in a construction environment within the Water (or related Process) Industry.
