The Role:

We're seeking an experienced electrical engineer with a P.E. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering to join our Revit Electric Software Group as a key team member.

As part of this role, you'll be implementing exciting new features that engage and influence Schneider and Autodesk customers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • You'll develop written specifications for how various electrical features function within the application.
  • Aid in translating these specifications into functional requirements and user stories for development teams.
  • Identify areas where technical solutions can improve business performance.
  • Translate customer needs and business strategy into user stories and software requirements.
  • Document user stories, requirements, and test plans.
  • Collaborate with local electrical experts on code compliance and standards.
  • Convey target countries' localization requirements linked to local offer and electrical design practices.
  • Provide inputs to the product team about global and local electrical standards.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and business towards the development team.
  • Participate in sessions with peers, colleagues, partners, and customers highlighting Electrical Engineers' business objectives, issues, and their resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of electrical design and code compliance, different electrical calculation standards (NEC, IEEE, ANSI), and customer experience knowledge.
  • Familiarity with calculations: Load calculations, ampacity sizing, arc flash, short circuit, selective coordination, harmonic analysis.
  • Experience designing electrical distribution systems using renewables, such as solar and wind, or microgrids.
  • Knowledge of AEC design and construction business operations and project management.
  • BIM and Autodesk Revit MEP proficiency.
  • Advanced ability to recommend and implement technical solutions for cross-functional projects.
  • Fluency in English.

Compensation:

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 annually, based on location and experience.
