About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Perimeter Aviation LP. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the maintenance control system and ensuring the efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Maintenance Control System: Ensure that all aspects of the system are met to support the dispatch of aircraft.
  • Plan and Issue Work Packages: Plan and issue work packages to approved maintenance organizations to comply with maintenance schedules, airworthiness requirements, and deferred defects.
  • Generate Tolerance Requests: Research aircraft maintenance requirements and develop workable plans for efficient and cost-effective maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with Aircraft Scheduling: Work closely with aircraft scheduling to coordinate aircraft routing and required downtime for maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with Materials Management: Liaise with materials management and maintenance bases to coordinate future maintenance activities.
  • Participate in Maintenance Meetings: Actively participate in repeat snag, heavy maintenance, and reliability meetings.
  • Implement Modifications: Work with Fleet Managers to implement modifications and snag rectification.
  • Line and Heavy Maintenance Planning: Perform line and heavy maintenance planning activities as assigned.
  • Liaise with Outside MROs: Liaise with outside maintenance repair organizations for contracted maintenance activities.
  • Verify Completed Work: Actively monitor completed work to ensure that required tasks have been completed in a timely manner and all deferred maintenance items have been planned correctly.
  • Develop Long-Term Maintenance Plans: Support and develop long-term heavy maintenance planning schedules.
  • Provide Scheduling Support: Work with the technical records department to provide scheduling and QC support.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
  • Transportation Security Clearances: Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations.
  • AME License: Valid AME (M1 or M2) license considered an asset.
  • Experience: Preference given to candidates possessing DHC-8 endorsement and/or SA-226/227 experience.
  • Cultural Awareness Training: Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Ability: Physically able to perform all listed job duties.
  • Travel: Travel by aircraft and other means as required by the role.
  • Work Environment: Work performed primarily in an office environment.
