We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Perimeter Aviation LP. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the maintenance control system and ensuring the efficient operation of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Support the maintenance control system, ensuring all aspects are met to support dispatch of the aircraft
- Plan and issue work packages to approved AMOs to comply with maintenance schedules, airworthiness limitations, and deferred defects
- Research aircraft maintenance requirements and develop efficient plans for work accomplishment
- Liaise with scheduling, materials management, and maintenance bases to coordinate maintenance activities
- Actively participate in repeat snag, heavy maintenance, and reliability meetings
- Work with Fleet Managers to implement modifications and snag rectification
- Perform line and heavy maintenance planning activities as assigned
- Liaise with outside MROs for contracted maintenance activities
- Monitor completed work for verification and planning accuracy
- Support long-term heavy maintenance planning schedule development
- Collaborate with technical records for scheduling and QC support
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain transportation security clearances and additional authorizations
- Valid AME (M1 or M2) license considered an asset
- Preference given to candidates with DHC-8 endorsement and/or SA-226/227 experience
- Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset
- Physically able to perform all listed job duties
- Travel by aircraft and other means as required
- Work performed primarily in an office environment
