**Job Summary**

Secongroup is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet and Asset Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the overall support of all activities of the Maintenance Team, including planning and coordinating of maintenance for heavy equipment and asset management.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program and manage through our company's fleet management system.
  • Track and manage all company assets and locations of each.
  • Regularly monitor work orders and follow up on materials, subcontractors, management of change or addressing manpower requirements to carry out the work.
  • Review work orders, subcontractors' reports, assess Labour productivity, equipment down time.
  • Review and approve the timeline and schedule for all maintenance activities.
  • Provide feedback to maintenance, identifying significant trends, potential issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure effective implementation of all Company and client policies and procedures including but not limited to labour relations, policies, visions, and ideas.
  • Management and oversight of maintenance shop consisting of two full-time mechanics.

**Requirements**

  • Valid driver's license
  • Understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling, practices, scheduling tools and techniques
  • Understanding heavy equipment; experience in operating of heavy equipment is a key qualification
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads and immediate changes in priorities
  • Ability to think critically and make independent decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
