Fleet and Vehicle Maintenance Manager

At Secongroup, we are seeking a highly skilled Fleet and Vehicle Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the overall support of all activities of the Maintenance Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all company assets, including locations and maintenance history.
  • Monitor and follow up on work orders, materials, subcontractors, and manpower requirements to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Review and analyze work orders, subcontractors' reports, and labor productivity to identify trends, potential issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with maintenance trades personnel and operations personnel to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in the coordination and execution of all maintenance activities.
  • Manage and oversee the maintenance shop, including two full-time mechanics.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling, practices, scheduling tools, and techniques
  • Understanding of heavy equipment and experience in operating heavy equipment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and make independent decisions
