Assistant Buyer - Lingerie and Fashion Accessories

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer to join our team at House Of Fashion Associates in Liverpool. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sourcing, planning, and developing product ranges for the lingerie and fashion accessories department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Buyer in planning, managing, and implementing the product development process
  • Source and develop new suppliers, ensuring they meet our requirements
  • Conduct competitor research and provide detailed trends reports and market analysis
  • Raise and progress purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
  • Monitor brand performance and sell-through rates, making recommendations for improvement
  • Manage and maintain sample ranges, documentation, and approvals
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and suppliers, ensuring seamless collaboration
  • Stay up-to-date with departmental legal, quality, and RRP requirements, ensuring compliance
  • Support the advertising calendar, completing and accuracy of advertising briefs, photography, and store point of sales

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Buyer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of the lingerie and fashion accessories market, including trends and competitor analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
