Job Summary
Elevate Flexible Legal Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Client Onboarding Team Leader to join one of our prominent law firm customers for a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of advisers, overseeing matters, conducting due diligence, and conflict checks. This role requires a strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and the ability to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of advisers to ensure efficient and effective onboarding of clients and matters.
- Oversee the due diligence and conflict checking process to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency and quality of service delivery.
- Collaborate with fee earners, partners, and the Group Counsel Team to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of services.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including conflict checking, file opening, CDD, and AML.
- Implement complex operational change programs to drive business growth and improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in service delivery and operational management, managing high volumes of work through a fast-moving pipeline and meeting speed, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong prior client and matter onboarding experience.
- Strong operational management experience in leading a high-volume complex area to meet quality, speed, and regulatory objectives.
- Good knowledge of legal and regulatory rules impacting law firms when onboarding and monitoring clients.
- Experience in implementing complex operational change programs.
- Knowledge of the SRA handbook and conflict/AML requirements.
- Ability to contribute and successfully deliver against a business strategy.
- Influencing skills and prior management/stakeholder engagement experience.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop people, be committed to quality, possess strong communication skills, and be resilient under pressure.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
