Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Education and Families Manager to join our team in a pivotal role within the Education and Families structure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, vision, and professional advice to the Council and Heads of Service, with a strategic focus on Secondary Education.
  • Effectively manage an allocated area of responsibility, including the line management of Head Teachers and a team of Continuous Improvement Officers and Education Support Officers.
  • Ensure effective partnership working within schools and with partner organisations, promoting and supporting the delivery of the National Improvement Framework.
  • Become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.
