Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at Atlantis Medical. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist physiotherapy services to patients aged 0-19 years, working collaboratively with complex needs services and social services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, gaining consent and formulating treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Diagnose and treat complex patients with sensitivity and respect for their autonomy, privacy, and dignity.
  • Manage a defined clinical caseload, working autonomously as a member of the multidisciplinary team with indirect supervision.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, including physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students, to ensure high standards of clinical care.
Key Requirements and Skills
  • Hold a degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent, with registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Demonstrate evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and advanced clinical reasoning in Paediatrics.
  • Possess specialist knowledge in anatomy and physiology, with strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Be able to work autonomously, motivate a team, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Postgraduate training in relevant clinical areas, such as CPIPS-UK or GIOBS, is highly desirable.
