Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior physiotherapist to join our team at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. As a senior physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with cancer and other conditions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide physiotherapy treatment to patients with cancer and other conditions, using advanced clinical reasoning skills to develop and provide individualized programs of care.
  • Supervise and educate junior staff and students, and contribute to delivering in-service training to the wider rehabilitation team.
  • Assist with the promotion and development of the physiotherapy service, and work flexibly to contribute to the emergency on-call service.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Clinical reasoning skills to identify and treat the disabilities that patients may suffer from.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
