Role: Specialist Oncology Physiotherapist

Site: The Christie Private Care, Manchester

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced oncology physiotherapist to join our team at The Christie Private Care. As a Specialist Oncology Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to support patients at every stage of their cancer journey.

The role will involve working independently as an autonomous practitioner, developing others, and contributing to the evaluation and development of clinical practice and service expansion. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients with cancer
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet individual patient needs
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the evaluation and development of clinical practice and service expansion

Requirements:

  • Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent
  • Post-registration specialist clinical experience working in Oncology and/or Haematology
  • Post-registration clinical experience across a wide range of core physiotherapy areas
  • Understanding of oncology conditions, treatments, and pathways
