**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To be the Ofsted registered Responsible Individual for the children's home
- To act on behalf of the organisation to ensure that the home meet relevant requirements set out in legislation
- To provide effective leadership and management of the home
- To ensure a high standard of consistent care and service in accordance with legislation, government guidance, regulations and standards, and the policies and procedures of the registered provider
- To oversee the management of placements within the home and to liaise with managers in formulating jointly agreed plans to ensure a coordinated approach to services for children and young people
- To ensure that the Registered Home Manager provides a high standard of consistent care/ service in accordance with legislation, central government guidance, regulations and standards and the policies and procedures

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Substantial experience of managing care planning practice in children's homes; identifying, assessing, planning, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating outcomes
- Extensive knowledge of law and practice relating to looked after children
- Have the business and management skills to supervise the management of the service efficiently and effectively
- Must have previous experience as a Responsible Individual
- A minimum of two years' experience in roles requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
- The successful applicant will hold a minimum of a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
- Hold a Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: £400.00-£500.00 per day
