As a Practice Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a high-performing team, driving clinical and compliance excellence, and inspiring colleagues to develop their skills. You'll also play a key role in marketing and business development, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.

The Role

  • Line management responsibility for the practice team
  • Supporting the clinical team to deliver NHS and private objectives
  • Profit and loss management, including cost control and business growth initiatives
  • Reviewing business reports to ensure efficient and profitable practice operations
  • Supervising banking procedures, including deposits, payments, reconciliation, and debt management
  • Maintaining up-to-date practice documentation, including policies, procedures, and handbooks
  • Ensuring practice compliance with health and safety requirements

Requirements

  • Dental practice management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Prior experience in business performance management, working to KPIs and targets, and managing profit and loss
  • Staff management experience, including appraisals and performance management
  • Enthusiasm and motivation to contribute to practice growth and development
  • CQC registration as a Practice Manager or willingness to obtain registration
