About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Safeguarding Manager to join our central team at With You. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity that will play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of best practices across all our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures across all services
  • Work closely with the Head of Safeguarding to deliver key projects and initiatives to improve safeguarding practices
  • Oversee the development of services and support improvements to contribute to a fully integrated safeguarding culture
  • Ensure that safeguarding is always a priority and provide support to the organization to deliver high-quality services
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve outcomes and drive a culture of cohesion within the team

Requirements

  • Be a Fully Qualified Social Worker (BASW, DipSW, CQSW, CSS), and registered with Social Work England
  • Have experience of working across complex health, social care or criminal justice landscapes, and have experience working in partnership with a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies
  • Have experience of strong leadership in safeguarding services
  • Have experience of managing and leading drug and alcohol, mental health or similar services
  • Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of provision of supervision to registered Social Workers
  • Have the ability to build effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
