About the Role
We Are With You is seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Safeguarding Manager to join our central team. As a key member of our safeguarding structure, you will play a crucial role in driving a culture of cohesion and excellence within our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Head of Safeguarding to deliver key projects and initiatives that support the embedding of safeguarding practices across our services.
- Oversee the development of services and support improvements to ensure that our clients receive high-quality, safe, and effective care.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices across all With You services, bridging the gap between frontline experiences and management.
- Provide supervision and guidance to registered Social Workers, ensuring that they have the necessary support to deliver exceptional care.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including statutory and non-statutory agencies.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Social Worker (BASW, DipSW, CQSW, CSS) and registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience of strong leadership in safeguarding services, ideally within the substance misuse arena and complex organizations.
- Ability to build effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of managing and leading drug and alcohol, mental health, or similar services.
- Proven track record of provision of supervision to registered Social Workers.
