Theatre Project Manager for National Programme

New Views Programme Overview
The National Theatre Learning and National Partnership Team is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the New Views programme, a year-long in-school playwriting initiative for students aged 11-18. The programme pairs schools with professional playwrights, providing support through visits, mentoring, and teacher CPD.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in developing and producing theatre or writing projects, excellent project management skills, and a good knowledge of school culture and the education system.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily running of the New Views programme, including coordinating events and maintaining the programme website.
- Act as the point of contact between participating schools and freelance staff and artists working on the programme.
- Produce the New Views Festival at the National Theatre.
Requirements
- Substantial experience of developing and producing theatre or writing projects.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills with delivery to budget and deadlines.
- A good knowledge of school culture and the education system.
- Experience of managing freelance staff and knowledge of artists working professionally in the field of arts and education.
- An understanding of working in a national context.
