We Are With You is seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Safeguarding Manager to join our central team. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity until 31st March 2026. The position is home-based with some travel required to With You sites across England and Scotland.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work alongside the Head of Safeguarding to deliver key projects that support the embedding of safeguarding practices to improve outcomes for our clients. They will oversee the development of services and support improvements and governance structures to contribute to the development of a fully integrated safeguarding culture. The National Safeguarding Manager will be responsible for raising the standards of safeguarding practice we provide to our service users, ensuring they are safe, effective, and responsive to client needs.

We use our expertise to improve the help available and raise awareness around drugs, alcohol, and mental health so that more people can get support.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Social Worker (BASW, DipSW, CQSW, CSS) and registered with Social Work England. They will have experience of working across complex health, social care, or criminal justice landscapes and have experience working in partnership with a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies. The successful candidate will also have experience of strong leadership in safeguarding services, managing and leading drug and alcohol, mental health, or similar services, and providing supervision to registered Social Workers.
