Supply Chain Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Officer to join our team at MBDA. As a Supply Chain Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring effective Supplier performance, capability, and Risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement supplier performance, capability, and risk management processes
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance and reduce costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
- Provide key team communications and support maintaining associated SC registers
- Conduct analysis to support the delivering of executive summaries
- Support collaborator engagements with key presentations
Requirements:
- Supply Chain professional with experience of international working in high technology companies
- Experience of supply chain management in the Aerospace, Defence, or Manufacturing environments is desirable
- Demonstrated understanding of Supplier Performance (Delivery and Quality) using appropriate tools and lean methodologies to drive improvement
- Understanding of process flows, lead time analysis, understanding capacity bottlenecks, yield, resources, and sub-tier mapping activities to form an industrial view of supplier
- Identify, Advance, and mitigate potential Supply Chain Risks and work with Supply Chain Managers to put in place associated improvement and mitigation plans
- Manage risks to closure
- Responsibilities could cover project management and planning for supplier ramp-up plans
- Excellent communication skills: able to communicate verbally, in writing, and present to at all levels of business
- A team player and advocate of multinational collaboration
- Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
