Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Management Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you'll be responsible for implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management applications to meet the needs of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the full development life cycle of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain projects, including functional implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Facilitate discussions with business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and present technical solutions.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance in supply chain management, identifying risks and mitigation plans.
- Document design sessions with customers to ensure business process requirements are met.
- Review accounting and financial processes, recommending solutions and best practices.
- Assist with recommending solutions using third-party applications.
- Perform financial configuration, testing, training, and deployment of the system.
- Maintain expertise with D365 Finance and Supply Chain finance functionality, release schedules, and ISV solutions.
- Understand and utilize Microsoft toolsets such as Lifecycle Services, BPM/RSAT, and DevOps during projects.
- Ensure application design and architecture components are fit for AO business processes.
- Carry out analysis workshops to understand end-user needs and problem statements.
- Maintain global configuration parameters for a central source of truth and audit purposes.
- Assist with end-user training to increase knowledge and buy-in.
- Provide second-line support for end-user functional issues.
Requirements
- Experience in consulting in the Microsoft ecosystem with a combination of 2-4 D365 F&O or AX 2012 R2, R3 full lifecycle implementations in finance/Supply Chain.
- Natural problem-solving skills with a logical approach.
- Passion to learn Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Supply Chain Management applications.
- Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve complex business requirements and streamline/automate business processes.
- Experience specializing within the following D365 F&SCM modules: Advanced Warehouse / Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Inventory Valuation and Closing, Logistics, Product Information Management, Product Returns, and Supply Chain.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English.
