About the Role

Humankind is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate HOPE Recovery Navigator to join our team. As a key member of our recovery services, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective and immediate responses to minimize harm and reduce relapse while encouraging individuals to engage with a recovery plan covering all aspects of their life.
  • Support the delivery of an effective Single Point of Contact, assessment, and engagement, health liaison, harm reduction, needle and syringe program, prevention pathways, and interventions, including BBV within the wider service delivery model.
  • Develop and coordinate targeted outreach, in-reach, and cross-reach activities related to health prevention and education.
  • Work in partnership with South Yorkshire Police to reduce substance-related crime and disorder by delivering interventions with offenders testing positive for Class A drugs in custody. Police clearance is required for the successful candidate.
  • Manage a varied caseload of clients and support them towards their recovery goals.
