About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Subject Lead to join our team at Laisterdyke Leadership Academy. As a Subject Lead, you will be responsible for leading and developing our Creative Arts and Design Technology faculty, driving excellence in teaching and learning, and inspiring our students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs and abilities.
  • Lead and manage a team of teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Collaborate with other subject leaders to develop and implement whole-school initiatives and policies.
  • Contribute to the development of the academy's curriculum and assessment policies.

Laisterdyke Leadership Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 18 year olds in Bradford. We are part of the Star Academies trust, a high-performing multi-academy trust that runs over 30 primary and secondary schools.
