Role Responsibilities

In this dynamic and demanding position, you will spearhead the procurement strategy aimed at enhancing profit margins while ensuring product quality and availability. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Managing the ongoing product assortment and identifying new products and suppliers within your category.
  • Providing customers with a diverse selection and unique offerings.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams in Supply Chain and Logistics to address supply challenges and guarantee efficient product delivery to the market.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and enthusiastic purchasing professional with a background in a Food Purchasing setting, whether in Retail, Wholesale, or Food Production. You should possess:

  • A proven history of sourcing and nurturing supplier relationships, demonstrating success in implementing cost-effective purchasing strategies.
  • Outstanding communication and persuasion abilities.
  • A strong commercial acumen and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 to £45,000, depending on experience, along with an attractive benefits package that includes:
