Job Title: Commercial Claims Handler

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join our team at PIB Group. As a key member of our Claims Specialty Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional claims service to our clients, ensuring professional and efficient management of all claims from inception to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage claims from across different products, including Property, Liability, Marine, and Business Interruption, ensuring service standards are met and/or exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain a full understanding of Acturis and utilize it to efficiently manage claims.
  • Provide claims information and reports to the broking department and clients as required.
  • Ensure complex claims are handled in accordance with group procedures.
  • Acknowledge all new claims to clients and insurers, and keep clients informed of progress.
  • Produce claims MI/claims reports as needed.
  • Meet with clients to present claims information and provide updates.
  • Undertake other duties as requested by management on an ad-hoc basis.
Requirements:
  • Robust Property, Liability, Marine, and Business Interruption insurance claims handling experience, coupled with strong commercial awareness and full understanding of insurance claims procedures.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, applying TCF and KYC methodologies.
  • Acturis system knowledge (desirable but not essential), with proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
  • Cert CII or working towards this or similar qualification.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude, with a natural ability to problem-solve, multitask, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
