Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team at Dalkia. As a key member of our Energy team, you will be responsible for leading and driving electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage electrical engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement electrical engineering solutions for cabling, control systems, and electrical installations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement electrical systems, including PLC-based control panels, MCCs, drives, and controls.
  • Conduct site surveys, develop electrical engineering solutions, and prepare necessary documentation for projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company procedures.
  • Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure project delivery and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in control systems, cabling, and electrical installations.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing electrical engineering projects, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and company procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Rockwell (Control Logix), Siemens (PC7S, TIA Portal), and Schneider (M580, M340) control systems.
  • Site installation and commissioning experience of control systems.
  • Experience with Motor Control Centres – specification, procurement, installation, etc.
  • Good understanding of BS7671 IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regs.
  • Awareness of /understanding of DSEAR Regulations and Hazardous area applications.
  • Awareness of /understanding of Functional Safety (IEC 61508/61511).
