About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our catering team and manage the delivery of a high-quality catering service within our locations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our catering operations meet the highest standards of health, safety, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the catering team to deliver a high-quality catering service that meets the needs of our customers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve catering operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards, including maintaining accurate records and reporting any incidents or near misses.
  • Manage kitchen stock, equipment, and resources within budget, including ordering and inventory management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best possible service and value.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of catering services with other aspects of our business.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and report on catering performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and staff engagement.

Requirements

  • Intermediate or level 3 food hygiene certificate with Cater Craft or similar award.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality catering services.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Basic knowledge of dietary requirements and the impact of food types on medication.
  • Safe use of kitchen equipment, including knives.
  • Flexible and innovative, with the ability to work as part of a team and individually.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
