About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our catering team and manage the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services within our locations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our catering services meet the highest standards of health, safety, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of catering staff to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food and beverage products.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Catering Operations
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the catering department, including menu planning, inventory management, and food preparation.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene and COSHH standards.
  • Performance Management
    • Monitor and evaluate team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage catering budgets and resources, ensuring efficient use of funds and equipment.
    • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure that all food and beverage products meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Intermediate or level 3 food hygiene certificate with Catercraft or similar award.
    • Health and safety procedures, including COSHH and food safety standards.
  • Experience
    • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality food and beverage services.
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Skills
    • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in relevant software applications.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
