Position Overview:

As a Customer Service Representative, you play a vital role in enhancing our clients' travel experiences. Customers rely on your expertise and friendly demeanor to guide them in selecting the ideal ticket for their journey. Your extensive knowledge and approachable nature empower customers to embark on their travels with ease and satisfaction.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Being the primary contact for customers seeking information or ticket purchases, ensuring they have all necessary resources to travel confidently.
  • As you gain experience, you will become a trusted source of information regarding not only the customers' journeys but also significant destinations, attractions, and local transport options.
  • Exhibiting flexibility in your role, you will engage in various tasks to maintain the station's quality and safety standards, from ensuring equipment is operational to assisting customers directly.
  • Equipped with the latest technology and comprehensive training, you will be prepared to provide customers with accurate ticketing information and support, including a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship to enhance your skills.
  • Managing ticket inventory, supplies, and ensuring orders are placed as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Leading by example in all retail aspects of the station, offering guidance and support to colleagues in the ticket office.
  • Coordinating ticket office activities, ensuring operational efficiency, stock availability, and that customer information is current and accessible.

To Qualify, You Should Be:

  • A proactive leader with a solid background in customer service.
  • Organized and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Able to manage repetitive tasks under pressure.
  • An excellent communicator who enjoys engaging with others.
  • Confident in initiating conversations with new individuals.
  • Dedicated to providing exceptional service – no task is too small.

Applicants requiring a visa must have a minimum of 6 months remaining at the time of appointment. Full-time training commitment is necessary.

Work Schedule:

Our services are available throughout the week, and as part of the station team, you will be expected to work various shifts, including early mornings and late evenings.
