Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Clinical Nurse Specialist Team, ensuring the smooth operation of our patient services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Clinical Nurse Specialist Team, including preparing and sending correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
- Act as a point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals, responding to queries and providing information as required.
- Assist with the preparation of outpatient clinics, including liaising with other departments and chasing results and reports.
- Use computer systems to accurately input and retrieve patient information, and maintain up-to-date demographic information.
- Maintain filing systems and perform other administrative tasks as required.
- Support the Clinical Nurse Specialist Team with typing and uploading letters to the Evolve system.
- Print and filter two-week-wait referrals sent through the e-Referral Service.
- Organize and update patient lists for case reviews with the CNS team, Oncology Consultant, and GP.
- Provide first-line support for telephone queries for the CNS team.
- Input data to NSSP spreadsheets and perform other administrative tasks as required.
