The Role: Lead Model Maker & Workshop Supervisor

We're assembling a talented design team in London, seeking individuals from diverse backgrounds and experience levels to contribute to our vision. As the Lead Model Maker & Workshop Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the aesthetic of our products. You'll manage our growing workshop within our Design Studio, ensuring it remains a hub of creativity and innovation.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate exceptional model-making skills with meticulous attention to detail, creating models that closely resemble real products.
  • Proficiency in utilizing a wide range of tools and machines, including rapid prototyping equipment, mills, lathes, CNC machines, laser cutters, and more.
  • Collaborate with designers to propose innovative mechanisms, approaches, finishing techniques, and other design solutions.
  • Utilize CAD software to receive, adapt designs, and suggest modifications as needed.
  • Maintain our workshop space, ensuring the safe operation of all equipment and a well-organized environment for the entire team.
