Position Overview:
Role: Aquatic Safety and Sports Facility Coordinator
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, scheduled between 06:30 and 21:00, including some weekends.
Compensation: £25,110.00, commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a prominent presence within the Sports Centre, assisting users of the facilities as needed.
- Oversee the lifeguarding duties required by the institution.
- Implement and manage the swimming pool maintenance and testing protocols.
- Prepare sports facilities for school events and external bookings as necessary.
- Address complaints, inquiries, and reported issues promptly. Notify the cleaning team of any cleanliness concerns.
- Communicate any issues or observations to the Commercial team prior to or following facility rentals.
- Ensure the Sports Centre is kept in a safe and operational condition for both school activities and external events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
- Pool Plant Qualification or a commitment to obtain it is essential.
- Previous experience in a sports centre or similar recreational facility is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities.
- Proficient literacy and numeracy skills.
- Competent IT skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
