Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our operations within the London Fire Contract across various locations.

Location:
London - Multi-site operations throughout Central, South, and East London.

Contract Type:
Full Time, Permanent. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with additional call-out duties as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in the facilities team, ensuring effective service delivery across the London Fire Contract.

Your daily tasks will include:
  • Conducting planned maintenance activities (including EML testing, tap temperature assessments, expansion vessel preventative maintenance, extract fan servicing, and general preventative maintenance duties)
  • Addressing reactive maintenance tasks and repairs across multiple sites
  • Liaising with subcontractors as required

Candidate Profile:
This position is ideal for individuals who possess:
  • Experience in a mobile maintenance capacity
  • Proficiency in both planned and reactive maintenance tasks (including EML testing, tap temperature assessments, expansion vessel preventative maintenance, extract fan servicing, and general preventative maintenance duties)
  • L8 Legionella awareness certification
  • A full, clean driving license with the ability to operate across a mobile contract (a company vehicle will be provided)
