Job Title: Specialty Doctor - Eating Disorders

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our Community CAMHS Eating Disorders Service in Kent and Medway. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide senior medical support and direct input on clinical cases, working closely with CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists and Adult Consultant Psychiatrists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide senior medical support to the team and direct input on clinical cases.
  • Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to the team.
  • Develop links with local acute trusts' A&E departments and inpatient wards.
  • Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies.
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training in a relevant specialty or as a fixed-term specialty trainee.
  • Equivalent experience and competencies.
  • Strong understanding of current developments in mental health care.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide guidance and supervision.
