Lead CAMHS Psychiatrist for Kent

We are seeking a Lead CAMHS Psychiatrist for Kent to join our award-winning team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a highly experienced consultant psychiatrist, you will lead a multidisciplinary team providing exceptional care to children and young people with mental health needs across Kent.
About the TeamYou will work closely with a 0.6wte Specialty Doctor within the service, influencing future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area. This is a substantive, full-time post offering 10 PAs with 7.5 PA DCC and 2.5 SPA.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior medical support and guidance to children and young people with mental health needs.
- Participate in the on-call rota (frequency is currently 1:14, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement).
- Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member.

With excellent communication skills both verbally and written, you will provide medical leadership to the multidisciplinary team and function as an active member. The estimated salary for this role is around £115,000 per annum, based on national averages for consultant psychiatrists in the UK.
