Job Overview:

We are recruiting for a CAMHS Community Team Leader, a challenging yet rewarding role that requires expertise in managing complex mental health conditions in children and adolescents.


As a key member of our Canterbury CAMHS Community Team, you will lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide effective treatment plans, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of our services.


You will work closely with our experienced CAMHS Consultants and benefit from continuous training, peer support groups, and regular supervision and appraisal meetings. We prioritize the growth and development of our staff members, ensuring they feel supported throughout their careers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the CAMHS Community Team, promoting best practices and maintaining high standards of care.
  • Collaborate with service users, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Develop and implement innovative treatment strategies, staying up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with local authorities, schools, and other organizations to enhance our community engagement and partnerships.
