About the Role

As a key member of our Dispatch and Balancing Strategy team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Great Britain's electricity system. Our ambitious transformation aims to create a cleaner, greener, and more affordable energy system for generations to come.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement robust quantitative and qualitative data-driven analysis of key GB electricity market outcomes.
  • Contribute to policy development, including writing papers and developing effective frameworks for assessment.
  • Interface with stakeholders to understand the implications of design proposals.
About You

We are seeking an individual with a strong understanding of GB electricity market design, including experience in the regulatory or policy arena. Your analytical thinking and evidence-led approach will enable you to develop a thoughtful and independent viewpoint.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues to audiences with varying levels of familiarity in power systems and power markets.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary between £60,000 - £70,000pa, dependent on experience and capability. You will also receive a bonus based on company performance, 26 days annual leave as standard, and a competitive contributory pension scheme.
