Position Overview:
CRA GROUP LIMITED is undertaking a comprehensive review of its housing services to explore potential savings and efficiencies through structural and organizational changes, including the possibility of reintegrating services internally.
The Housing Transformation Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding this initiative, collaborating closely with internal project management teams and specialized external consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
The role involves daily oversight of teams focused on:
- Housing Regeneration, Enabling, and Development (leading the organization's housing development and regeneration projects)
- The Refugee Resettlement Team
- Housing Strategy and Commissioning, which includes managing relationships with:
- the housing ALMO
- entities responsible for homelessness functions
- the property development company
Essential Experience Required:
Candidates must demonstrate:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in housing management, preferably within a public sector environment.
- Proven track record in leading transformational projects or programs, including project planning, execution, and assessment.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and collaboration with housing associations, developers, community organizations, and governmental bodies.
- Familiarity with housing policies, regulations, and best practices within the UK context, including knowledge of relevant legislation.
Essential Qualifications Required:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Housing Studies, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or Business Management is essential. Additional qualifications or certifications in project management, change management, or housing policy are desirable.
Additional Information:
Working hours are set at 36 hours per week. The position may accommodate part-time arrangements for suitable candidates, requiring a minimum of three days per week.
This role supports hybrid working, with a requirement for in-person attendance at least two days a week, alongside occasional evening meetings.
