Insurance Account Manager

To excel as an Account Handler at Lawes Insurance Recruitment, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Corporate Division Management Team, Business Development Executives, and Account Executives in managing accounts and facilitating the brokering process for existing and prospective business with insurers.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with Account Executives and fellow Account Handlers to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Work with team members to maintain a smooth office operation and efficiently complete housekeeping tasks.
- Participate in the firm's Performance Appraisal system, setting annual business and personal development goals and engaging in quarterly reviews.
- Adhere to the firm's Treating Customers Fairly Policy, setting an example for junior staff members.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of major classes of General Insurance, including Commercial Combined, Fleet, Property Owners, Cyber, D&O, Employers, and Public liability.
- Proficiency in report writing, broking presentations, and insurance register preparation.
- Familiarity with the Law of Agency and the Data Protection Act.
- Knowledge of Rehabilitation of Offenders, Disability Discrimination, and Race Relations Acts.
- Excellent computer and keyboard skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
- Build strong rapport with clients and underwriters.
