About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Limited. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs in their homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centered care and support to individuals with complex needs, including those with spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and acquired brain injuries.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the organization.
Requirements
- Experience working in complex care, preferably with children.
- Previous experience working with individuals with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
