About the Role

Medsolve is proud to partner with an exceptional organization seeking dedicated Support Workers to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role involves working to a rota of scheduled visits for customers in their own homes, covering the Stockport area.

This is a full-time role, offering a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including mileage paid, annual MOT and car service payment, and fully funded training in Health and Social Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively attend to customers' needs, assisting with personal care, including skin care, bathing, shaving, oral care, toileting, and dressing.
  • Enable mobility, including moving and handling transfers, pushing wheelchairs, and checking specialist equipment.
  • Assist with dietetics, including assistance with menu planning, preparing, serving, and storing food.
  • Support customers with activities of daily living, such as working, leisure, and education.
  • Assist with medications as prescribed by the medical team.
  • Deal with correspondence and financial matters as requested.
  • Perform day-to-day household tasks, such as changing beds, laundry, ironing, and shopping.
Requirements
  • Must have a full clean driving license and use of own car.
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as training will be given.
  • Strong communication, patience, empathy, and a caring nature are essential.
