Job Description

At 15gifts, we're seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Product Engineering team. As the Head of Product Engineering, you'll be responsible for driving the development of best-in-class products that meet the evolving needs of our users.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, driving technical innovation, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
    • Build and lead a cohesive Product Engineering team that is passionate about delivering exceptional products.
    • Develop and execute strategies to drive team performance, growth, and engagement.
  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring they have the skills and expertise needed to succeed.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform technical decisions.
  • Product Vision
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product roadmaps that meet business objectives.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our users' needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity.
    • Develop and implement processes that promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Communication
    • Effectively communicate technical and business concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and executives.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in leading high-performing Product Engineering teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in software development, architecture, and engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, and business needs.
  • Experience working with cloud services, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and practices.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve exceptional results.
