About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Complex Needs Practitioner to join our team at Recovery Focus. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support services to individuals and families affected by substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with individuals and families affected by substance misuse, providing person-centered support and interventions to reduce risk and increase resilience.
  • Work collaboratively with our partners, including health and social care professionals, to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Provide psychosocial interventions, including counseling and therapy, to support individuals and families in achieving positive outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive support plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each individual or family.
  • Work flexibly across the community, including outreach and hub-based settings, to provide support services to those who need them most.
Requirements
  • Experience in family support, substance misuse, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the complexities of addiction and its impact on individuals and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and professionals.
  • Strong assessment and planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, or Addiction Studies.
