About the Role

Forseven, a pioneering company at the forefront of electric vehicle innovation, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Dynamics Engineer - Active Features to join our dynamic Engineering team.

This exciting opportunity will be based in our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, where you will have the chance to collaborate with some of the most visionary minds in the automotive industry.

Reporting to the Vehicle Dynamics Lead Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of advanced active features and systems for luxury electric vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, durability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and validate advanced active features and systems for luxury electric vehicles.
  • Conduct performance testing and analysis to ensure the quality and performance of suspension systems.
  • Enhance existing suspension features and systems to meet evolving customer demands and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the development of vehicle dynamics controls and integration with the suspension system.
  • Support the development of chassis control software for relevant actuators, including longitudinal and lateral torque vectoring, rear wheel steering, steer-by-wire, brake/brake-by-wire, and integration with traction control, anti-lock braking system, and electronic stability control.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working within the automotive or manufacturing industry (desirable).
  • Proven experience in vehicle model integration and systems requirement.
  • Strong knowledge of suspension system components.
  • Familiarity with vehicle dynamics, suspension systems, and control algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
