We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of UK export contracts. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of contract management and delivery, with a focus on international clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of UK export contracts, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with international customers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, business development, and project management teams, to ensure seamless contract delivery.
- Anticipate and proactively resolve issues and concerns, ensuring contractual commitments are met and customer acceptance is obtained.
- Support business development efforts, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to secure new contracts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in contract management, with a focus on international clients.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Experience of people management, including leadership and team management.
- Ability to travel internationally, with an open mind and adaptability to different cultures.
- Experience of preparing and authorising bid submissions, with exposure to business bid authority roles.
- Proven experience of interfacing with corporate functions, including finance, customer support, export control, project management, quality, shipping, and engineering.
