About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of UK export contracts. As a key member of our UK Export Contract Management Team, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, ensuring timely contract delivery, and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead contract and commercial interactions with international customers to ensure customer satisfaction and contractual commitments.
  • Manage communications with MBDA and external partners to ensure smooth contract execution.
  • Anticipate and resolve issues proactively to ensure timely contract delivery and customer acceptance.
  • Ensure MBDA's business interests are safeguarded through robust contract management and risk mitigation.
  • Support Sales & Business Development in acquiring new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in contract management, with a strong track record of leading contract delivery in both bid and execution phases.
  • High degree of self-motivation and drive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with an open and confident leadership style.
  • Experience in people management and stakeholder relationship management.
  • Ability to travel internationally and adapt to different cultures.
  • Proven experience in preparing and authorizing bid submissions, with exposure to Business Bid Authority roles.
  • Interfacing with corporate functions such as finance, customer support, export control, project management, quality, shipping, and engineering.
