Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead UI Software Engineer to join our team at Kite Consulting Group. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the UI development of a new in-house built platform for a leading global financial services client based in London.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office and will pay a starting base up to £110k plus benefits. You will report to the Head of Software Engineering and be responsible for assessing the current setup and making recommendations for the future vision of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the UI development of a major programme
  • Develop and implement React (ideally 16/17) and Typescript (ideally 4/5) solutions
  • Collaborate with senior management to make recommendations for the future vision of the platform
  • Work with the team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality UI components and features

Requirements

  • Previous experience leading the UI development of a major programme
  • Strong knowledge of React and Typescript
  • Experience working in a financial services or similar regulated market
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
