Lead UI Software Engineer – Financial Services – React – London

A highly skilled and experienced Lead UI Software Engineer is required by a leading global Financial Services Client based in London. The role will be heading up the UI area for a new company platform development programme, working closely with the senior management to drive the future vision.

Reporting to the Head of Software Engineering, your role will be to lead the UI development of a new in-house built platform, assessing the current setup and making recommendations for improvement. You will be responsible for leading a team of UI developers and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the UI development of a new in-house built platform
  • Assess the current setup and make recommendations for improvement
  • Lead a team of UI developers and work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Deliver high-quality software solutions

Requirements:

  • Previous experience leading the UI development of a major programme
  • React (ideally 16/17)
  • Typescript (ideally 4/5)
  • Javascript
  • Financial Services or similar regulated market
