We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis for a period of 6 months. As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Capture and consolidate payroll inputs for onward processing by our third-party payroll agent, including new starters, leavers, employee detail changes, and variable pay components.
- Run reports from our Time & Attendance (T&A) system to perform a review and reconciliation of pay adjustments.
- Manage employee payroll queries in a timely and efficient manner, working in partnership with our HR team where necessary.
- Identify potential input errors in the T&A system, providing feedback to relevant department managers and offering guidance to ensure ongoing accuracy.
- Reconcile payroll and pension balance sheet accounts.
- Support on pension administration, including the preparation of monthly contribution submissions.
- Collaborate with our line manager to improve payroll processing, adopting a continuous improvement mentality.
- Previous experience in a similar role, working with large data sets.
- Experience working with multiple IT systems concurrently.
- Strong Excel capability.
- Experience in payroll processing.
