Position Overview

Banner Lane is seeking a skilled Product Marketing Engineer to join a dynamic and expanding high-tech electronics firm.

This organization specializes in tailored RF and Power solutions for diverse sectors, including renewable energy, telecommunications, defense, governmental, and commercial markets.

As a recognized leader in employee development, our client boasts robust financial support from a publicly traded parent company and maintains a strong order pipeline.

In the role of Product Marketing Engineer, you will be tasked with converting intricate technical information into persuasive marketing narratives, helping clients appreciate the advantages and value of the company's offerings. You will work in close collaboration with various teams, such as product development and sales, to ensure effective product launches and sustained marketing initiatives across all product lines.

The ideal candidate will possess a technical background and a passion for innovative solutions, along with a proven history of creating impactful technical marketing materials.

Given the sensitive nature of the work, candidates will be required to undergo several security assessments to qualify for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Create technical documentation, including whitepapers, blog articles, and product specifications.
  • Messaging Strategy: Simplify complex technical data into clear, engaging, and concise messaging.
  • Product Messaging: Enhance product messaging and positioning for targeted demographics.
  • Market Analysis: Remain updated on industry developments, competitive dynamics, and customer requirements.
  • Launch Strategies: Collaborate on strategies for introducing new products to the market.
  • Promotional Initiatives: Increase product visibility through marketing collateral, webinars, and promotional content.
  • Sales Support: Equip sales teams with tools and training on technical product features.
  • Resource Management: Maintain a repository of sales support materials.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a team of digital marketing professionals.
  • SEO Development: Formulate SEO strategies tailored for technical marketing.
  • Performance Analytics: Utilize analytics to assess and refine campaign performance.
  • Reporting: Deliver regular updates on key performance metrics.
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with external web developers and graphic design partners.
  • CRM Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of the CRM database for marketing purposes.
  • Brand Guidelines: Administer the corporate style guide and templates.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage the budget allocated for all marketing activities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in technical marketing or a related field.
  • Strong grasp of technology to effectively translate technical details into compelling narratives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics software.
  • Capability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proactive, innovative, and adaptable mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing, motivating, and developing teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Marketing qualifications from CIM are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A degree or equivalent in a technical or scientific discipline is desirable.
