We are seeking a passionate and experienced Freelance Cycle Instructor to deliver high-quality training courses to cyclists of all abilities. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in educating the public about safe cycling practices and promoting a positive impact on the environment.

Your Role:

As a Freelance Cycle Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering group and one-to-one training sessions, including Complete Beginner, Confidence Builder, and Introduction to Quiet Roads courses. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all training sessions are delivered to the highest standard and that our clients receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training sessions to cyclists of all abilities
  • Work closely with our team to ensure seamless delivery of training sessions
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients
  • Contribute to instructor meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

  • Qualified Freelance National Standard Accredited Cycle Instructor or working towards this qualification
  • Experience of working with adults and young people of all abilities
  • Excellent communication skills

What We Offer:

We offer a flexible approach to freelance working, with hours to suit your needs and a fixed fee of £17 per hour. You will be required to predominantly cover sessions within the Northern part of Greater Manchester, including Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Oldham, and Rochdale. Travel time is not paid.

How to Apply:

Interviews will take place online, and you will be required to participate in a client contact role-play scenario and answer competency-based questions. Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment checks, including DBS, and will be invited to a 1-2-1 induction session and shadowing sessions ahead of commencing delivery.
